Lizzie and Emma got married at the beautiful Low House which is located north of Armathwaite Village in the Lake District, Cumbria. They had a beautiful outdoor wedding in the Lake District.
Low House is a Georgian House which has the most amazing views and is just a small walk away from the River Eden.
Lizzie and Emma got ready in 2 small cottages near to Low house with their bridesmaids. Within the two cottage they had another little cottage which they set up hair and makeup. Both Lizzie and Emma had set time which they allocated themselves so they wouldn’t run into one another while getting ready. (The inner Monica in me was loving the organisation they had going on).
The ceremony took place outside on the courtyard lawn surrounded by their family and friends at Low House. It was a sunny day which made the day even more perfect. Specially given how temperamental British weather can be.
Natural wedding photography at Low House in the Lake District
The Georgian grade two listed building is a great venue with a lot of open space, such as two large lawn areas which you are able to use to how you please. Low House in the Lake district is a perfect for an outdoor wedding as you are able to add your own personality to it.
Lizzie and Emma opted for a relaxed marquee which they decorated each table to destination which they had travelled together to.
After the wedding meal they had speeches or I should say speeches and song. As Emma sang her speech, leaving her friends, family and Lizzie. It was so sweet.
Lizzie has a Scottish background. With this in mind their first dance was none other than a Ceilidh. I have never seen a Ceilidh dance before. It was amazing. All of Lizzie and Emma family and friends joined in too.
I had the pleasure to second shoot for Rachel Joyce Photography for Lizzie and Emma Lake District wedding.
